For my final draft I took what I heard from my peers and did a little revising. My first draft had mostly red and gray colors. I wanted to stick with the theme of the same colors as WSU since well I’m a student here and the show is on the college radio station. I decided to go with a yellow color instead though. This is, because I felt yellow just brought a certain lively feel to the logo. I then decided to increase the point marks around the wording to make it look better to me. I didn’t want to change any colors on the microphone due to the fact that I liked it the way it is. I got rid of the KUGR wording and made the focus my shows name which is Sports Take. This finished logo was a completely different style then what I originated on doing. I originally wanted to do a bearded man with a hat siting on a couch. I felt it would be funny and different and would be an easy way to draw attention to my show. Though I could not get the design to turn out a way that I liked. So I instead went to a more basic logo just to get a foundation out there. This logo I feel may be good on a t-shirt or sweatshirt. It may look simple, but I do know there is a market for simple out of place shirts and I think this logo may fit that. I wanted to stay simple and not get overly ambitious with my design. I feel simplicity is the quickest and easiest way to get a message across or show people that this is your product. I did have fun trying to solve the puzzle of which logo fits me, and I’m still looking on building on this. Though as of now, this is my logo and I’m pretty proud of it.
